What is Walking Meditation?

Walking meditation is a form of meditation that is used within the Buddhist tradition and other mindfulness practices. Considered to be "meditation in action," the different forms of walking meditation shift your focus to the body and the act of walking itself. Increased awareness of your surroundings, your balance and other body-centered sensations are common.
